In January 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work Three Studies Of Saint Paul by Carlo Urbino. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,905.03) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Urbino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seated Draped Figure Seen From Below, which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,107.14).

Im Januar 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three Studies Of Saint Paul von Carlo Urbino zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.905,03) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Urbino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seated Draped Figure Seen From Below beobachtet, die im Januar 2008 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.107,14) versteigert wurde.
