Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Donna con chitarra by Carlo Striccoli. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,612.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Carlo Striccoli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work La Giocatrice was auctioned for EUR 3,120.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Donna con chitarra von Carlo Striccoli zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.612,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Carlo Striccoli konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit La Giocatrice für EUR 3.120,00 versteigert.
