Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Rebus by Carlo Guarienti was auctioned at Il Ponte in October 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,400.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,100.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Guarienti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait De Jean Leymarie, 2000, which sold at auction in March 2010 for EUR 3,060.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Rebus von Carlo Guarienti im Oktober 2010 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.400,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.100,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Guarienti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait De Jean Leymarie, 2000 beobachtet, die im März 2010 für EUR 3.060,00 versteigert wurde.
