In September 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master and British Works on Paper Online, which included the work View Of The Ponte Dei Sospiri, Venice by Carlo Grubacs. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,692.57), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Grubacs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Riva Degli Schiavoni Seen From The West in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,610.20).

Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Of The Ponte Dei Sospiri, Venice von Carlo Grubacs zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.692,57) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Grubacs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Riva Degli Schiavoni Seen From The West im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.610,20).
