Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carlo Grubacs could be acquired at Il Ponte in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Venezia changed hands for EUR 7,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 7,500.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carlo Grubacs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Riva Degli Schiavoni Seen From The West in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,610.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Grubacs konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Venezia für EUR 7.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.500,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlo Grubacs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Riva Degli Schiavoni Seen From The West im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.610,20).
