Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Four views of St. Mark's Square and the Ducal Palace, Venice each 11.4 x 16.2cm (4 1/2 x 6 3/8in)(image). (4) by Carlo Grubacs. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,659.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Grubacs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Riva Degli Schiavoni Seen From The West in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,610.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Four views of St. Mark's Square and the Ducal Palace, Venice each 11.4 x 16.2cm (4 1/2 x 6 3/8in)(image). (4) von Carlo Grubacs zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.659,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Grubacs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Riva Degli Schiavoni Seen From The West im Januar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.610,20).
