Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Marina by Carlo Cressini. The price achieved of EUR 7,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Cressini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Et Prope Et Procul in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 84,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marina von Carlo Cressini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Cressini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Et Prope Et Procul im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 84.250,00.
