In January 2005 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Horses grazing by Carlo Cherubini. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 156.00 (€ 225.35), 56% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Cherubini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La danza in January last year with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 112,379.59).

Im Januar 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horses grazing von Carlo Cherubini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 156,00 (€ 225,35) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Cherubini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La danza im Januar letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 112.379,59).
