Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2004 Christies in London held the auction AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work A nude dressing; and Study of a bearded man by Carlo Cherubini. The price achieved of GBP 478.00 (€ 722.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Cherubini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La danza in January last year with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 112,379.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A nude dressing; and Study of a bearded man von Carlo Cherubini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 478,00 (€ 722,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Cherubini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La danza im Januar letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 112.379,59).
