Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Carlo Cazzaniga could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Ritratto di fanciullo changed hands for EUR 1,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Cazzaniga - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Giovane Donna Elegante, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 3,472.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlo Cazzaniga konnte im Mai 2016 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Ritratto di fanciullo für EUR 1.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Cazzaniga mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Giovane Donna Elegante beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 3.472,00 versteigert wurde.
