Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art, which included the work "Brezza" Primo, 1975 by Carlo Battaglia. The price achieved of EUR 2,317.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlo Battaglia - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Diaspro, which sold at auction in April 2011 for EUR 6,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art - Australian Aboriginal Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Brezza" Primo, 1975 von Carlo Battaglia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.317,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlo Battaglia mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Diaspro beobachtet, die im April 2011 für EUR 6.000,00 versteigert wurde.
