This artwork by Carl Zewy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2008. In the Nineteenth Century European Art auction, the work He loves me, he loves me not sold for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,027.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Zewy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A good story in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 15,275.00 (€ 26,150.18).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Zewy erzielte im Januar 2008 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art wurde die Arbeit He loves me, he loves me not für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.027,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Zewy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A good story im April 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.275,00 (€ 26.150,18).
