Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The New Arrival by Carl Wilhelm Hübner was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in July 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,080.00 (€ 6,059.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Carl Wilhelm Hübner have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Porträt des Düsseldorfer Malers Carl Hilgers (1818-1890) was auctioned for EUR 10,965.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The New Arrival von Carl Wilhelm Hübner kam im Juli 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.080,00 (€ 6.059,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Carl Wilhelm Hübner konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Porträt des Düsseldorfer Malers Carl Hilgers (1818-1890) für EUR 10.965,00 versteigert.
