Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work A tempting treat by Carl von Blaas. The price achieved of GBP 5,400.00 (€ 7,966.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl von Blaas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Austrian The Prince Of Valmontone With The Donna Gwendalina Doria Pamphili And Bertram Talbot In A Villa Garden in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,940.59).

Im September 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A tempting treat von Carl von Blaas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 7.966,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl von Blaas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Austrian The Prince Of Valmontone With The Donna Gwendalina Doria Pamphili And Bertram Talbot In A Villa Garden im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.940,59).
