Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Germana View Of Aulis In Boeotia by Carl Rottmann for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 53,413.18). This price was achieved in the auction Evening Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Rottmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work AULIS., which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 110,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Germana View Of Aulis In Boeotia von Carl Rottmann für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 53.413,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Evening Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Rottmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit AULIS. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für EUR 110.000,00 versteigert wurde.
