The result of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,756.66) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Ronald Giles have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Daily Express Comment: “In Half An Hour In A Country Pub The Russians Would Learn Far More About The British Than In All The Museums And Trading Centres In The Land.” “I'Ll Say They Would.” in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,539.16).
