Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work 'Granny' waving hello by Carl Ronald Giles. The price achieved of GBP 500.00 (€ 580.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Ronald Giles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Daily Express Comment: “In Half An Hour In A Country Pub The Russians Would Learn Far More About The British Than In All The Museums And Trading Centres In The Land.” “I'Ll Say They Would.” in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,539.16).

Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Granny' waving hello von Carl Ronald Giles zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 500,00 (€ 580,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Ronald Giles erzielen.
