Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Summer Flowers by Carl Rudolph Krafft. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,308.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Carl Rudolph Krafft have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Red Sleigh in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 85,000.00 (€ 54,599.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Summer Flowers von Carl Rudolph Krafft zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.308,58) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Rudolph Krafft auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Red Sleigh im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 85.000,00 (€ 54.599,18).
