Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Women's portraits, probably depicting Sigrid von Essen by Carl Larsson was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year. The result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,395.60) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Larsson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Syende flicka" in December 2020 with an auction result of SEK 10,200,000.00 (€ 1,015,829.93).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Women's portraits, probably depicting Sigrid von Essen von Carl Larsson wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.395,60) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Larsson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Syende flicka" im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 10.200.000,00 (€ 1.015.829,93).
