The work "Syende flicka" by Carl Larsson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2020. It achieved a price of SEK 10,200,000.00 (€ 1,015,829.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. With this result, "Syende flicka" is even the most expensive work of art by Carl Larsson that we have observed at auctions so far.
