Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work Meal Time by Carl Jutz. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,625.00 (€ 6,746.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Jutz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hühnerhof. 1894. in March 2007 with an auction result of CHF 137,250.00 (€ 84,624.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Meal Time von Carl Jutz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.625,00 (€ 6.746,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Jutz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hühnerhof. 1894. im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 137.250,00 (€ 84.624,16).
