Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Cooling Bath by Carl Jutz was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,625.00 (€ 6,746.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Jutz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hühnerhof. 1894. in March 2007 with an auction result of CHF 137,250.00 (€ 84,624.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Cooling Bath von Carl Jutz wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.625,00 (€ 6.746,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Jutz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hühnerhof. 1894. im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 137.250,00 (€ 84.624,16).
