In October 2018 Grisebach held the auction Auktionen Oktober 2018 - Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts, which included the work „Misdroy“. by Carl Hummel. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Hummel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baumstudie aus dem Park der Villa Carlotta. in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 36,250.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2018 führte Grisebach die Auktion Auktionen Oktober 2018 - Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Misdroy“. von Carl Hummel zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Hummel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baumstudie aus dem Park der Villa Carlotta. im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.250,00.
