Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Osé-Pah by Carl Everton Moon for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,871.40). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Carl Everton Moon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Navajo Boy in February 2003 with an auction result of USD 10,157.50 (€ 9,423.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Osé-Pah von Carl Everton Moon für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.871,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Everton Moon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Navajo Boy im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.157,50 (€ 9.423,42).
