Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Daniel Cordier, Collection privée, which included the work Linienkomposition Par (I); Linienkomposition (Ii); Komposition Botem (Iii) 3 Works by Carl Buchheister. The price achieved of EUR 1,134.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Buchheister achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zweisystem Bild in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 162,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Daniel Cordier, Collection privée durch, in der auch die Arbeit Linienkomposition Par (I); Linienkomposition (Ii); Komposition Botem (Iii) 3 Works von Carl Buchheister zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.134,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Buchheister erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zweisystem Bild im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 162.500,00.
