The work Three portraits in profile, "F", "Å", "P" by Carl August Ehrensvärd was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2013. The auction ended at the price of SEK 10,000.00 (€ 1,129.25), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl August Ehrensvärd have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Goda gosse, glaset töm". Illustrations for drinking songs, 24. in December 2018 with an auction result of SEK 95,000.00 (€ 9,345.76).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Three portraits in profile, "F", "Å", "P" von Carl August Ehrensvärd kam im Dezember 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 10.000,00 (€ 1.129,25) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl August Ehrensvärd auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Goda gosse, glaset töm". Illustrations for drinking songs, 24. im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 95.000,00 (€ 9.345,76).
