The auction ended at the price of SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,382.65), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl August Ehrensvärd - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Goda gosse, glaset töm". Illustrations for drinking songs, 24., which sold at auction in December 2018 for SEK 95,000.00 (€ 9,345.76).
