The work The waterfalls of Älvkarleby by Carl Abraham Rothstén was sold in the Important Spring Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2019. It achieved a price of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,475.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carl Abraham Rothstén - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stockholms inlopp, which sold at auction in November 2009 for SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,722.29).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.475,53) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Für andere Arbeiten von Carl Abraham Rothstén mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stockholms inlopp beobachtet, die im November 2009 für SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.722,29) versteigert wurde.
