In the Pictures Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Daily activities in Utrecht with the Domtower beyond sold for EUR 5,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carel Jacobus Behr; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dutch A View Of The Korte Voorhout Towards The Haagse Comedie, The Hague; A View Of The Buitenhof With The Gevangenpoort, The Hague (A Pair) sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of EUR 6,250.00.
