Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Eruzione dell' anno 1813 by Camillo da Vito was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,993.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camillo da Vito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four views of the Vesuvius erupting in January last year with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,216.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Eruzione dell' anno 1813 von Camillo da Vito kam im September 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.993,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camillo da Vito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four views of the Vesuvius erupting im Januar letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.216,55).
