However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Camille Souter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The two old Turnips, which sold at auction in May 2002 for GBP 21,510.00 (€ 33,684.95).

Die Arbeit Two Nuns von Camille Souter wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion The Irish Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.361,17) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Camille Souter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The two old Turnips beobachtet, die im Mai 2002 für GBP 21.510,00 (€ 33.684,95) versteigert wurde.
