Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paysage avec deux personnages, Éragny, automne by Camille Pissarro was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in March 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 209,000.00 (€ 244,927.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Pissarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 19,682,500.00 (€ 23,879,608.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage avec deux personnages, Éragny, automne von Camille Pissarro wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 209.000,00 (€ 244.927,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Pissarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Boulevard Montmartre, Matinée De Printemps im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.682.500,00 (€ 23.879.608,50).
