The work An Ancient Tale: Kuafu Running After The Sun (Painted In 1985-1986) by Cai Guo-Qiang was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 8,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 9,350,000.00 (€ 1,001,064.01). Other works by Cai Guo-Qiang have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 20,487,500.00 (€ 1,826,712.40) in October 2007 for the work Project For Extraterrestrials No.10, Project To Extend The Great Wall Of China.

Die Arbeit An Ancient Tale: Kuafu Running After The Sun (Painted In 1985-1986) von Cai Guo-Qiang kam im April 2021 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 8.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 9.350.000,00 (€ 1.001.064,01) einen neuen Besitzer.
