Despite a disappointment, a good price for Carl Otto Hultén
When the work "Blått samlag" by Carl Otto Hultén was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,882.36). Despite this disappointing result, "Blått samlag" is the most expensive artwork by Carl Otto Hultén that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Carl Otto Hultén
Als die Arbeit "Blått samlag" von Carl Otto Hultén im November 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.882,36) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist "Blått samlag" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Carl Otto Hultén, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
