Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work View from a forest by Carl Frederik Aagaard was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 4,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.19). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Frederik Aagaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mossy Rocks in a Stream in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 15,006.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit View from a forest von Carl Frederik Aagaard im November diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 4.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,19) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Frederik Aagaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mossy Rocks in a Stream im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 15.006,25).
