Despite a disappointment, a good price for Carl Frederik Aagaard
In October 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Mossy Rocks in a Stream by Carl Frederik Aagaard for USD 18,000.00 (€ 15,006.25). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Mossy Rocks in a Stream is the most expensive artwork by Carl Frederik Aagaard that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Carl Frederik Aagaard
Im Oktober 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mossy Rocks in a Stream von Carl Frederik Aagaard für USD 18.000,00 (€ 15.006,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00.
