Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carl Frederik Aagaard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bruun Rasmussen in March this year. In the Paintings & drawings auction, the work “Klipper i en Bygmark sold for DKK 110,000.00 (€ 14,761.77) - well above the upper estimate of DKK 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carl Frederik Aagaard; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mossy Rocks in a Stream sold at auction in October 2005 with the realized price of USD 18,000.00 (€ 15,006.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Frederik Aagaard erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paintings & drawings wurde die Arbeit “Klipper i en Bygmark für DKK 110.000,00 (€ 14.761,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von DKK 40.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Carl Frederik Aagaard; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mossy Rocks in a Stream im Oktober 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 15.006,25).
