Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Burhan Cahit Doğançay was sold in the Art Contemporain - Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in December 2017. It achieved a price of EUR 11,875.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Burhan Cahit Doğançay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whispering Wall Ii in April 2011 with an auction result of GBP 277,250.00 (€ 312,231.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Burhan Cahit Doğançay wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Art Contemporain - Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 11.875,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Burhan Cahit Doğançay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Whispering Wall Ii im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.250,00 (€ 312.231,28).
