This work without title by Burhan Cahit Doğançay was sold in the Art Contemporain - Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in December 2017. The auction ended at the price of EUR 10,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Burhan Cahit Doğançay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whispering Wall Ii in April 2011 with an auction result of GBP 277,250.00 (€ 312,231.28).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Burhan Cahit Doğançay wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Art Contemporain - Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Burhan Cahit Doğançay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Whispering Wall Ii im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 277.250,00 (€ 312.231,28).
