Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bui Xuan Phai could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, this work without title changed hands for SEK 28,000.00 (€ 2,731.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bui Xuan Phai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Houses in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,625,000.00 (€ 171,775.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bui Xuan Phai konnte im November 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für SEK 28.000,00 (€ 2.731,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bui Xuan Phai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Houses im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.625.000,00 (€ 171.775,05).
