The work The Arches, St Ives Harbour by Bryan Pearce was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art auction at Christies in London in December 2015. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,431.81), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bryan Pearce achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St. Ives (All Round) in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 63,941.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Arches, St Ives Harbour von Bryan Pearce wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.431,81) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bryan Pearce erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit St. Ives (All Round) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 63.941,37).
