Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art, which included the work Fruit In Blue Bowl by Bryan Pearce. The price achieved of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,129.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bryan Pearce have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St. Ives (All Round) in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 55,250.00 (€ 63,941.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fruit In Blue Bowl von Bryan Pearce zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 7.129,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Pearce auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St. Ives (All Round) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 55.250,00 (€ 63.941,37).
