Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Bird on Head by Bryan Kneale. The price achieved of GBP 693.10 (€ 1,037.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Bryan Kneale have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Opposed Forms in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,137.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bird on Head von Bryan Kneale zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 693,10 (€ 1.037,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bryan Kneale auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Opposed Forms im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.137,32).
