Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Collina by Bruno Cassinari was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,016.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruno Cassinari achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Giuseppina in December 2015 with an auction result of EUR 65,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Collina von Bruno Cassinari im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.016,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruno Cassinari erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Giuseppina im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.000,00.
