The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,064.00 (€ 3,681.16), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruce Weber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ric and Natalie, Villa Tejas, Montecito, California in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 100,497.29).
