Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ogba Igosimisi by Bruce Onobrakpeya was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,216.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruce Onobrakpeya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zaria Indigo in September 2020 with an auction result of USD 81,325.00 (€ 69,401.78).

Die Arbeit Ogba Igosimisi von Bruce Onobrakpeya kam im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.216,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruce Onobrakpeya erzielen.
