Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Millenium Project, from Room Service 3 by Bruce McLean for GBP 125.00 (€ 175.03). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Prints at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruce McLean achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Handbags, Two Ladders in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,744.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Millenium Project, from Room Service 3 von Bruce McLean für GBP 125,00 (€ 175,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Prints bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruce McLean erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Handbags, Two Ladders im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.744,26).
