It achieved a price of USD 11,430.00 (€ 10,353.26), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bruce Davidson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Circus Dwarf, Palisades, NJ, which sold at auction in April 2001 for USD 18,800.00 (€ 21,185.49).

Die Arbeit East 100th Street, New York (facades) von Bruce Davidson kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.430,00 (€ 10.353,26) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Für andere Arbeiten von Bruce Davidson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Circus Dwarf, Palisades, NJ beobachtet, die im April 2001 für USD 18.800,00 (€ 21.185,49) versteigert wurde.
