Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Five works: (i) Will Shatters Guitar Thrown Down; (ii) Ricky Williams: Sleepers; (iii) Trixie Anxiously Awaits Crime; (iv) De Detroit: UXA; (v) Frankie Fix: Crime by Bruce Conner was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in December 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,700.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bruce Conner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cannabis Collage in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 631,500.00 (€ 596,993.76).

Die Arbeit Five works: (i) Will Shatters Guitar Thrown Down; (ii) Ricky Williams: Sleepers; (iii) Trixie Anxiously Awaits Crime; (iv) De Detroit: UXA; (v) Frankie Fix: Crime von Bruce Conner kam im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.700,81) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bruce Conner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cannabis Collage im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 631.500,00 (€ 596.993,76).
