Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bror Hjorth could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Skön Anna" changed hands for SEK 460,000.00 (€ 43,988.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 500,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bror Hjorth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Blå Eva" in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 2,400,000.00 (€ 261,165.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bror Hjorth konnte im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "Skön Anna" für SEK 460.000,00 (€ 43.988,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 500.000,00 – 600.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bror Hjorth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Blå Eva" im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 2.400.000,00 (€ 261.165,98).
